- Scanning the Battery Label using the optional barcode scanner will automatically populate battery info. This saves time and prevents making mistakes.
- The barcode scanner from a Midtronics xMB-9640 Array balancer can be used with the DCA as well.
- If you have to manually enter battery information; Volkswagen batteries use the DIN battery rating unit. Not SAE/EN!
- When completing a Diagnostic Charge in Vehicle, the DCA gives you the option to do a System Test. Some comments:
- This system test provides additional diagnostic information that can help.
- The system test is entirely optional only and does not influence in any matter the Test Code or Ford Warranty process
